Make the page
work for you.

A few calm ideas for printing, choosing, and using worksheets with early learners.

01

Start with one page.

Short practice feels more inviting than a thick stack. Let the learner finish while the work still feels manageable.

02

Say the sounds out loud.

For phonics pages, stretch the sounds together: /c/ /a/ /t/. The spoken part is where the reading work begins.

03

Print in black and white.

The worksheets are designed with clear line art and plenty of white space, so a home printer is all you need.
